Uttering threats

Surrey Criminal Lawyer

There are two types of threats, one being uttering a threat and the second being threatening death. If you have been charged with threatening death, you could be facing possible jail time if the Crown decides to proceed by indictment. For you to be convicted, the Crown must prove the utterance, someone received the threat and it being a death threat.

Uttering threats includes when a person conveys or causes any person to receive a threat to cause death or bodily harm to another person, to damage personal property or to kill or injure an animal or bird that is property of a person. You should Contact Allied law to discuss your legal options as soon as possible.
